Miranda Theatre Company will present a reading of the new play Williston by Adam Seidel on Monday, November 13th, at 4 p.m. at Cherry Lane Theatre. Directed by Valentina Fratti, the play will feature Michael Countryman, Drew Ledbetter and Andrus Nichols.

It's 2013 and the US domestic energy boom is in full swing. Two veteran oil reps for a small Midwestern energy company come to Williston, North Dakota to score drilling rights to valuable land. But when a young upstart shows up to help close the deal, it becomes apparent that their quest for progress might lead to irrevocable damage to everyone at stake, including the land itself.
