Actors' Fund Lifetime Achievement to Honor Tommy Tune

Join host Florence Henderson as The Actors Fund honors Tommy Tune at their 12th Annual Tony Awards(R) Party with the Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement and featuring a live feed of the Tony Awards as they happen in New York.

On Sunday, June 15th, 2007 at the Skirball Center (2701 North Sepulveda Blvd., LA, 90049), Tune will receive his accolade. At 3:30, cocktails will be served and the silent auction begins. From 5 to 8 will be dinner and the live telecast of the Tonys from New York. At 8, the award will be presented. On November 12, 2003, The President of The United States presented Tommy Tune with the nations' highest honor for Artistic Achievement, The National Medal of Arts. In a private ceremony in the oval office of the White House, Mr. Tune received this honor to add to his already unprecedented nine Tony Awards in four different categories plus, among other accolades, eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, two Astaire Awards, the American Dance Award, the Drama League Award, and the George Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement.
