The summer program will be held in New York City August 9-20. Tuition is $1,950 and doesn't include housing. Additional information about The Arts Edge Summer, including the program schedule, application and audition can be found online at www.theartsedge.com.
The Arts Edge Summer Program is designed for high school students seriously considering a college major in musical theater. The program brings together professionals from the top performing arts schools across the nation. The program was developed by Halley Shefler, founder of The Arts Edge education consultancy who has been dean of admissions at The Boston Conservatory for more than 11 years; and Andrea Kramer, founder of Ballet Forte, a pre-professional dance conservatory. Ms. Shefler brings 30 years of experience in higher education including admissions and academic positions at Boston University's College of Fine Arts and The Longy School of Music.
