ANYTHING GOES Launches 'You're the Tap' Contest!

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) Tony® Award winning Broadway production of Anything Goes launches "You're the Tap!" Contest. To submit your entry and watch videos of other hopeful hoofers, visit Facebook.com/RoundaboutTheatreCompany.

Hop aboard for "You're The Tap," a fun and fancy-free Facebook tap dance contest from Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes. To enter, fans should record and submit a video of their own rousing routine set to the toe-tapping title song. One lucky Grand Prize winner will be selected by Tony Award® winning director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall and will receive an Anything Goes spree in NYC. The prize package for two includes airfare provided by American Airlines, hotel accommodations at Flatotel, dinner at Aureole, and tickets to Anything Goes with a backstage meet and greet. So strap on your dancing shoes (a soft-shoe is just as welcome as a hard-clapping tap), and get ready to strut your stuff. Entries will be accepted through October 16.

Directed & choreographed by 2011 Tony® Award winner Kathleen Marshall, Anything Goes is playing through Sunday, January 8th, 2012 on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street). It was originally scheduled to run through July 31st, 2011.

Music & lyrics by Cole Porter; original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; New book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman.
