AMERICAN A**HOLES: ESCAPE TO EDINBURGH to Bring US Comedy to Fringe
Lauren LoGiudice, Dannielle Slaughter, and Wayne Charles II headline the late-night Fringe show.
The American A**holes, formed of three headlining US stand-up comedians are bringing their show, American A**holes: Escape to Edinburgh to Fringe for a strictly limited-run this 20-29th August.
Stand-up comedians Lauren LoGiudice, Dannielle Slaughter, and Wayne Charles II developed AMERICAN A**HOLES after meeting on the New York comedy circuit and discovering shared thematic interests in identity, culture, and contemporary American life from their respective Queer, Indigenous, and African American perspectives.
The show combines stand-up comedy with conversational improvisation as the trio explores topics including politics, race, sexuality, relationships, and social behavior through differing personal viewpoints. AMERICAN A**HOLES: ESCAPE TO EDINBURGH uses humor and audience interaction to examine contradiction, self-awareness, and cultural tensions in modern America.
Each performer brings a distinct comedic style to the production. Lauren LoGiudice blends satire and autobiographical storytelling, Dannielle Slaughter incorporates observational humor and social commentary, and Wayne Charles II focuses on conversational storytelling and personal experiences.
Together, the performers create a collaborative comedy format centered on contrasting perspectives, with the show aiming to encourage reflection through humor and discussion.
