ALADDIN's Kathryn Allison Releases Album Featuring James Monroe Iglehart

Kathryn Allison releases her debut album Something Real. It is produced and arranged by Grammy Winner Dominic Fallacaro. Mr. Iglehart appears with Ms. Allison on the classic Motown tune "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing." Ms. Allison recently released her second single and video "The Song of Purple Summer" from Spring Awakening, rearranged as a femme anthem.

Something Real reimagines Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Ella Fitzgerald, and others as an exploration of love, lust, and heartbreak. Rediscover the songs you thought you knew as Ms. Allison guides you through a powerful symphonic journey.

Something Real is set to be released on February 8th, 2019.

Ms. Allison will be performing the album live for the first time at Joe's Pub on April 7th, 2019 at 7 pm.
