Shea's Performing Arts Center and Road Less Traveled Productions has announced the cast and creative team for the upcoming production of A FEW GOOD MEN. Packed with tension, moral complexity, and some of the most quoted lines in modern drama, the production invites audiences to ask: where does duty end and responsibility begin?
Enlisted to serve on the cast are: Nick Stevens (U.S. Navy JAG Corps Lieutenant Junior Grade Daniel Kaffee), Renee Hawthorne (U.S. Navy JAG Corps Lt. Commander Joanne Galloway), John Fredo* (U.S. Marine Corps Colonel Nathan Jessep), along with Johnny Barden (Lt. Jonathan Kendrick), Ryan Butler (Pfc. A FEW GOOD MEN is a riveting courtroom drama written by Aaron Sorkin which was made into a smash-hit 1990s film directed by the late Rob Reiner and starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, and Jack Nicholson. The story follows two Marines on trial for the death of a fellow Marine after an illegal disciplinary action known as a “Code Red.” As the case unfolds, the play grapples with honor, loyalty, and the consequences of following orders, building to the unforgettable courtroom confrontation where “You can't handle the truth!” becomes both accusation and challenge.
The production is directed by Katie Mallinson with support from Shelby McNulty-DeCaro (Stage Manager), Lynne Koscielniak** (Scenic Design), Katie Menke (Sound Design), Nicholas Quinn (Light Design), Lise Harty (Costume Design), Diane Almeter Jones (Properties Master), Stefanie Warnick (Fight Director), Lou Iannone (Technical Director, Hasheen DeBerry (Production Coordinator), Matt Myers (Assistant Stage Manager), Anthony D'Avanzo (Assistant Technical Director), Gabrielle Nunzio (Wardrobe), and J. Marc Quattlebaum (Scenic Artist).
A FEW GOOD MEN takes the stage at Shea's 710 Theatre for 12 performances from June 11 through 28, 2026.
