92nd Street Y Hosts Philip Seymour Hoffman and Michael Caine This Fall

92nd Street Y has announced that Philip Seymour Hoffman and Michael Caine will be joining the lin-up of guests in conversation this fall.

Seymour Hoffman will be appearing on September 15, with a preview screening and discussion of his new film, Jack Goes Boating. This is Hoffman's debut as a film director, and after the screening, he'll be joined by fellow cast members. The event takes place at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $29.

The 92nd Street Y's perenially popular film screening discussion series, Reel Pieces with Annette Insdorf, kicks off its season November 9 with one of the most durable, popular and talented actors in all filmdom - Michael Caine. He has starred in Alfie, The Dark Knight, Sleuth, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Zulu, The Man Who Would Be King, Educating Rita, Sleuth (again), Hannah and Her Sisters and countless others. For this special occasion, the Y will show clips and devoting the entire evening to Sir Michael himself.

This event begins at 7:15 pm, by subscription; if single tickets are available, they'll go on sale Nov 1. Limited press seats available.
