Betty Blue Eyes made an excellent start to voting in the 2011 BWW:UK Awards, but fellow new musical Ghost is catching up.

Residents of the Piccadilly Richard Fleeshman (Best Leading Actor in a Musical) and Sharon D Clarke (Best Supporting Actress in a Musical) are now topping their categories.

Sarah Lancashire is holding the fort for Stiles and Drewe's show, though, holding on to top spot as Best Leading Actress in a Musical - at least for the time being.

Josie Rourke's production of Much Ado About Nothing, starring Catherine Tate and David Tennant, continues to lead the majority of the straight play categories - but last year's Best Leading Actress in a Musical, Sheridan Smith, is leading the voting for Best Supporting Actress in a Play for this year's Flare Path.

Of course, there's still time for everything to change - voting is open all through November so you can have your say.
