TANGO FUSION Composer Victorio Menghi Releases New Single 'Life Alive'
The Argentine guitarist blends cinematic pop, rock, and electronica on the new track, available on Spotify and Apple Music.
Victorio Menghi has announced the release of his new single LIFE ALIVE, now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital platforms.
Known internationally for developing the Tango Fusion genre, Menghi combines cinematic pop, electronic production, rock influences, and tango elements in the new release. The track marks a more contemporary and personal artistic direction while maintaining the emotional intensity associated with his previous work.
Menghi first gained international recognition through projects including Tango Fusion (2009) and Tango Fusion World Tour (2012), which blended Argentine musical traditions with electronic and symphonic influences. His recent releases also include FINDING TRUTH and HABRÁ POESÍA.
Created during a transitional period as Menghi turned 50 in 2025, LIFE ALIVE explores themes of renewal, artistic freedom, identity, and reinvention. Menghi said the work reflects “a freer and more universal moment for artists and human communication.”
The composer has previously been featured by Univision, Telemundo, and NY1 News. The Washington Post described him as “a new generation of Argentine artist reimagining tango in the contexts of jazz, electronica and world music.”
Menghi holds a degree in Electroacoustic Composition from Universidad Nacional de Quilmes and a Superior Guitar Degree specialized in Tango from EMPA. His music has been distributed internationally through EMI Music and publishing partnerships with Warner Chappell. He was also granted an O-1 Visa by the United States government in recognition of extraordinary artistic ability.
In addition to the new single, Menghi announced development of MASTER PIECES / OBRAS CUMBRES, a forthcoming catalog of 100 orchestral fusion works intended for film, audiovisual productions, and sync licensing.
