BWW Preview: Wausau's Grand Theater Reveals 2016-2017 Season

Wausau's Grand Theater announced its 2016-2017 season last night. With over 20 shows, there are plenty of options.

Music fans have a great selection including VOCALOSITY, AN EVENING WITH TRAVIS TRITT, THE HAVANA CUBA ALL-STARS, A DARLENE LOVE CHRISTMAS: LOVE FOR THE HOLIDAYS, THE KING'S SINGERS CHRISTMAS, THE JOHN ALTENBURGH CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA, CANTUS, THE FIVE IRISH TENORS, SONS OF SERENDIP, RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES, THE YOUNG IRELANDERS, HOME FREE, and THE TIME JUMPERS.

Fans of dance and movement will enjoy SHANGHAI ACROBATS, and RUSSIAN NATIONAL BALLET: SWAN LAKE.

Comedy and magic fans will enjoy THE SECOND CITY: FREE SPEECH and ADAM TRENT: FUTURIST.

For theater fans, there are sadly just two options: PIPPIN and MAMMA MIA! Since MAMMA MIA! will also be at the Fox Cities P.A.C. just after its stint at the Grand Theater, make sure not to double up inadvertently if you only want to see it once. Or just see it at both for the coveted immersive ABBA experience.

Additionally, THE WARREN MILLER EVENT will screen a film on snowboarding and skiing.
