The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie will be directed for LCCT by Ceil Herman, running February 1 through 17, 2013.
Author Agatha Christie is well known as the foremost mystery writer of her time. In this play, a group of strangers are stranded in a boarding house during a snow storm, one of whom is a murderer. The suspects include the newly married couple who run the house, a spinster with a curious background, an architect, a retired Army major, a strange little man who claims his car has been overturned in a drift, and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. Into their midst comes a policeman, traveling on skis. As soon as he arrives, the jurist is killed. Enjoyable plot twists follow as the backgrounds of everyone present are probed and surprising truths are revealed.Show Dates and Times:Fridays: February 1, February 8 and February 15 at 8:00 PMSaturdays: February 2, February 9 and February 16 at 8:00 PM
