Based on Stephen Frears' 2005 film, which stars Judi Dench as 'Laura Henderson', who creates a vaudeville show featuring all-nude young women at the Windmill Theatre in London during "a time of great censorship," says producer Michael Harrison.

The film's producer Norma Heyman is also backing the musical alongside John Reid and Harrison.

MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS features music by George Fenton and Simon Chamberlain with lyrics by Don Black. Terry Johnson will direct from his own adaptation of Martin Sherman's screenplay.

The production begins performances on August 14, 2015.
