West End star Paul Spicer (Notes from New York, Taboo, Mamma Mia!) will return to London in Something in Common at the Theatre Museum for two nights only, on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October 2006. Spicer's long-time friend Clare Foster is set to co-star.

Something in Common is, "an intimate account of the lives of two like-minded individuals evoking defining moments in their respective lives and shared existence. Something in Common offers an insight into fifteen years of a friendship that inspired the dreams and determination that have shaped their careers."

Brand-new songs from some of the world's most acclaimed contemporary composers, including Adam Guettel, Charles Miller, John Bucchino and Stephen Schwartz, will receive their UK premieres alongside the work of emerging writers such as Grant Olding, James Michalos and Jeff Bowen.

Best known for headlining the critically acclaimed Notes from New York series, which he also co-founded, Spicer has previously played lead roles in shows including The Witches of Eastwick, Fame and Taboo. He was also seen by millions in the music video to Uniting Nations' top ten hit single "Out of Touch," and has numerous other musical theatre credits.

Following a stint in the UK tour of Chicago, Foster made her West End debut in We Will Rock You and subsequently joined the original cast of The Far Pavilions at the Shaftesbury Theatre. She then created the lead role of Chloe in the world premiere of Out of This World at the Chichester Festival Theatre and is currently appearing in Avenue Q.

Theatre Museum is located at Russell Street, Covent Garden, London WC2. The show plays Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October 2006 at 8 PM. Tickets are £15.00 / £12.50 each.
