Sarah Ingram, Michael Matus Announced in New London Production of Boy George's TABOO, Sept 6

According to reports from whatsonstage.com, full casting has been announced for the revival of Boy George's musical TABOO, which will take place at Brixton Club House from September 6 through December 23, 2012.

Sarah Ingram (West End's SHOW BOAT, MURDEROUS INSTINCTS, SOUTH PACIFIC, OKLAHOLMA! and MARTIN GUERRE), will play Billy's mother, Josie, and Michael Matus (West End's EVENING PRIMROSE and MARTIN GUERRE) will play Derek/Patel.  They join previously cast members Matthew Rowland (Boy George) Paul Baker (Philip Salloon), Sam Buttery (Leigh Bowery), Adam Bailey (Marilyn), Katie Kerr (Sue Tilley), Owain Williams (Steve Strange), Niamh Perry (Kim), and Alistair Brammer (Billy).  Ensemble members Daniella Bowen, Zeph Gould, Alex Hammond, and Jennifer Hepburn are also cast in the show. 

Taboo will once again be directed by co-creator, Christopher Renshaw and the project is also actively supported by the talents of many of the original creative team including writer Mark Davies Markham and composer/lyricist and star of the original run, Boy George

Produced by Danielle Tarento who scooped the coveted title of Best Producer at the Off West End Awards 2012 and Bronia Buchanan of End of the Pier Productions. Taboo will be presented in licence through Stage Entertainment Licensed Productions (www.licensedmusicals.com)
