According to the Daily Mail, Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) is set to star in Simon Gray's Quartermaine's Terms at Wyndham's Theatre. The show will go on a short tour before opening at Wyndham's on Jan. 23.

The show is produced by Michael Codron, who produced the 1981 original production with Edward Fox. Richard Eyre is set to direct. Quartermaine's Terms centers on inept Cambridge English language school teacher St. John Quartermaine.

Atkinson is best known for playing Mr. Bean but has also appeared in the sitcom Blackadder and TV shows The Thin Blue Line, and Not The Nine O'Clock news. His film credits include Bean, Mr. Bean's Holiday, Johnny English, Johnny English Reborn, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Rat Race, Scooby-Doo, Love Actually and more. Atkinson also appeared on stage in The Secret Policeman's Ball in 1979 and played Fagin in the 2009 West End revival of Oliver!
