On Sunday, 12 August, 2012, David Suchet met the cast of Threesixty Entertainment's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in Kensington Gardens. Suchet recorded the voice of Aslan, a giant puppet, for the production back in May while performing in the West End play Long Day's Journey Into Night, which closes at the Apollo Theatre on Saturday, 18th August. Check out a photo from Suchet's visit below!

David Suchet said, "It's the strangest experience for me to pick up a ticket at the box office and watch myself perform, even though it may be a lion! I was very thrilled to be part of a wonderful show, it was truly magical and everyone in the audience was held spellbound, both adults and children alike. I particularly congratulate the three artists who operate the Aslan puppet."

The cast of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe includes Carly Bawden, who plays Susan Pevensie, and is a previous winner of the David Suchet Drama Prize, set up and sponsored by Suchet to encourage pupils at his old school, Wellington School, Somerset, to enjoy acting. Carly is the first recipient of the prize that Suchet has acted with since setting up the school's award more than 10 years ago.
