According to the Daily Mail, Michael Ball will be starring in MACK & MABEL at Chichester Festival Theatre next summer.

The production will be directed by Jonathan Church and will feature choreography by Stephen Mear.

The team is still the hunt for an actress to play 'Mabel'.

MACK & MABEL, with book Michael Stewart and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, follows the complicated, sometimes abusive relationship between Keystone Studios director Mack Sennett and actress Mabel Normand.

Ball made his West End debut as 'Marius' in the original London cast of LES MISERABLES and has since starred in the West End in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, ASPECTS OF LOVE (also on Broadway), CHITTY CITTY BANG BANG, PASSION, HAIRSPRAY, and SWEENEY TODD.

Ball also starred on Broadway in THE WOMAN IN WHITE and has made forays into opera and television. In 2010, he appeared on ITV as the host of THE MICHAEL BALL SHOW.

The actor is currently preparing for a spring 2015 tour.
