Following a successful run at the Point Theatre in 2004, the international tour of Mamma Mia! will return to the Point Theatre in Dublin for a limited 6-week run beginning 6 February, 2007.

Over the last two years, the international tour has performed in South Africa, Estonia, Portugal, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

"Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago."

There are currently 10 productions of Mamma Mia! playing around the world: Three in North America (Broadway, Las Vegas and North American Tour), and 5 foreign language productions (2 in Germany, Hamburg and Stuttgart, Madrid, Osaka, and Stockholm) as well as the original production in London and the English-language international tour. The Russian-language production of Mamma Mia! will open this October in Moscow.

Since its stage premiere in 1999, Mamma Mia! has gone on to gross over £150 million at the UK Box Office and over $1.6 billion worldwide.  More than 27 million people have seen the show worldwide.

Mamma Mia! returns 6th February through 17th March, 2007. Tickets from €30 to €60 are available from www.ticketmaster.ie or from 0818 220813. Northern Ireland Customers please call 0870 243 4455.
