Lloyd Webber to Remodel Palladium Theatre

According to a report by The Guardian, Andrew Lloyd Webber, along with many other theatre veterans celebrated the 100th birthday of his Palladium Theatre, where his new production of The Wizard of Oz will play next February.  He also announced plans to  remodel the front of the house and add more ladies restrooms.

The Palladium has a very rich history, being a popular variety venue until Lloyd Webber's musicAl Blockbusters took over. Recently,  Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music and Sister Act have all played at the Palladium.

Lloyd Webber as said that his pans will be "the biggest programme of refurbishment and change in the Palladium's history"
