The Daily Mail is reporting that Ghost The Musical will be closing at the Piccadilly Theatre to make way for Viva Forever, the Spice Girls musical.

Ghost currently stars Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans, with original leads Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman now heading the cast on Broadway.

The Daily Mail's report indicates that Ghost's last West End performances will be in the autumn.

There has been considerable uproar on social media since the Mail's report was published, as the cast apparently had no idea their run would be coming to an end.

There have been no official announcements as yet indicating whether or not the Mail's report is accurate, or whether Ghost might have the opportunity to transfer to a different venue.
