Fresh from a 2014 run at London's Southwark Playhouse, this 'most enjoyable, moving and stimulating new musical' (The Independent) with a beautiful folky score is brought to Birmingham for the first time by the Old Joint Stock Theatre.

November, 1963: A group of young marines, on their last night before being deployed to Vietnam, set out for one final wild night of debauchery in San Fransisco. The evening's entertainment - a 'dogfight' - a party where each marine competes to invite the ugliest woman they can. But when Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an unassuming and idealistic waitress, the rules of the game are rewritten and his prejudices changed by the power of compassion.

Enjoy this stunning new production in the Old Joint Stock's intimate theatre in Birmingham from Wed 5 - Sun 16 August 2015. Fans of musicals will love it, those less sure can be guaranteed there's not a jazz hand in sight! Tickets can be booked using this link: http://www.oldjointstock.co.uk/whats-on/dogfight.
