Lee Mead, who stars in the West End's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will be on holiday and therefore not performing during the following periods: January 14-26, March 10-15 and May 5-10 2008.  At these performances, the role of Joseph will be played by Lewis Bradley.

Preeya Kalidas will not be performing on Wednesday matinees.  At these performances the Narrator will be played by Fiona Reyes.

The West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat began previews at the Adelphi Theatre on July 6th and opened on July 18th.  The production will play an extended booking period through June 7th, 2008.

Mead was chosen to star in the title role through the hit UK reality talent search "Any Dream Will Do." Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat also stars Kalidas as the Narrator, Dean Collinson as Pharaoh and Stephen Tate as Jacob/Potiphar/Guru.

John Alastair, Kate Alexander, Jennifer Ashton, Paul Basleigh, Verity Bentham, James Bisp, Tyman Boatwright, Simon Coulthard, Lucie Downer, Tom Gillies, Emma Harris, Pip Jordan, Louise Madison, Emily Mascarenhas, Sarah Meade, Nathaniel Morrison, Mark Oxtoby, Adam Pearce, Tamlyn Platts, Pippa Raine, Fiona Reyes, Ricky Rojas, Craig Scott, Jonathan Stewart, Kate Tydman, Russel Walker, Neal Wright and Danielle Young comprise the ensemble.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with music by Webber and lyrics and book by Tim Rice, is a light-hearted reimagining of the biblical tale of Joseph, who is betrayed by his 11 brothers but finds a happy ending after adventures in Egypt.  The staging of the West End revival will be based upon that of Steven Pimlott's 1991 production.
