Children's television favourites The Chuckle Brothers speak to BWW ahead of their pantomime run at Nottingham's Theatre Royal.

Which panto are you doing and what parts will you be playing?

We'll be playing Paul and Barry Trot (brothers of Jack) in Jack and the Beanstalk.

Why do you think pantomime is so loved in the UK?

Because it's a wonderful British theatrical custom which brings families and friends together at the festive time.

Will we be hearing a certain well-known catchphrase during the show..?

You'll have to buy a ticket for the show to see, but anyone who has grown up watching ChuckleVision isn't going to be disappointed!

Have you had any onstage disasters during a pantomime?

We're the Chuckle Brothers ... What do you think? Oh Dear Oh Dear!

Do you have any special memories of going to see pantomimes yourselves?

As children it was the highlight of Christmas and New Year, after Santa of course! Our mum, dad and very large family would always go to see the pantomime. We knew then that we wanted to one day be in panto ourselves.

Ticket information for Jack and the Beanstalk is available on the Theatre Royal website.
