Anna Chlumsky, who first rose to fame in the My Girl films, will appear off-Broadway in Benjamin Kessler's Blue States.  The show will be presented from January 25th through 29th at the Actor's Workshop Theatre.

A tale of media duplicity and politics, it will be directed by Michael Melamedoff and feature Cass Bugge, Sarah DeLuca, DeVon Jackson, and Peter Karinen.

Chlumsky recently appeared in the off-Broadway hit Half-Life; other theatre credits include Measure for Measure and Iphigenia at Aulis.  Her film and TV credits include Wait, "Miracle in the Woods," Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain, My Girl, My Girl 2 and Uncle Buck.

Blue States will also feature lighting by Diana Kesselschmidt, while Patrick Force will be the show's composer.
