By:

Waiting for Godot, Samuel Beckett's absurdist masterpiece, opened in its 50th anniversary production on Wednesday, November 16th. The show began previews on November 8th at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue); it plays a limited engagement of ten weeks only.

Waiting for Godot is presented by Petina Cole; Red Horse Productions, LLC; Leonard Soloway; Steven M. Levy; and Rock and a Hard Place Productions, LLC. The production is directed by Alan Hruska, and features Sam Coppola (Vladimir), Joseph Ragno (Estragon), Ed Setrakian (Pozzo), Martin Shakar (Lucky), and Tanner Rich (Boy). The show is set along a desolate roadside, where Vladimir and Estragon wait for the arrival of the enigmatic title character and pass the time in existential banter.

Tickets, which are $55, are available through Telecharge.com online or by phone at (212) 239-6200. Tickets are also available in person at the Theatre at St. Clement's Box Office.
