Gayfest NYC will present their opening gala benefit event on Monday April 14th, 2008 with Emmy Award winner Leslie Jordon's one man comedy act entitled Leslie Jordon: My Trip Down The Pink Carpet. Mr. Jordon has starred in both "Will and Grace" and "Sordid Lives". 

The event is to be held at New World Stages (Stage 3) located at 340 West 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues in New York City. Start time is at 7:30 and the show runs ninety minutes without any intermission. This act may be inappropriate for children under the age of eighteen.

All proceeds from the benefit go to the Harvey Milk High School.
