The new ABBA documentary DVD "Super Troupers" (Polydor/Polar/UMe) is available in stores nationwide today, capturing the excitement of the entire ABBA phenomenon from 'Waterloo' to MAMMA MIA! Narrated by songwriter, producer, U.K. dance music fixture Pete Waterman, "Super Troupers" presents the fascinating history of a band that has sold 350 million albums and whose music is reaching a massive new global audience through the smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, which this year surpassed $1 Billion in worldwide box office receipts and is now officially the World's Number One Musical.

"Super Troupers" encompasses a 90-minute documentary plus 30 minutes of extras. Exclusive, in-depth interviews feature all four members (shot in Sweden and London), offering a rare insight into the quartet. Digitally re-mastered archival footage reaches back to the pre-ABBA '60s, with highlights of ABBA on tour and on stage, and the music of 24 of the group's hit records. "Super Troupers" also features exclusive footage from both rehearsals and performances of MAMMA MIA!, highlighted by the London 5th Anniversary Gala Special Finale, a medley that includes "Mamma Mia," "Dancing Queen" and "Waterloo."

With four companies playing in North America alone (which between them grossed $190 million in 2004 alone), MAMMA MIA! has more productions playing around the world than any other current Broadway musical. The global phenomenon can be experienced in six different languages begins previews in ABBA's homeland on February 1, 2005, marking a first time ever Swedish translation, 6th foreign language translation, and the 14th production of the smash hit currently running around the world.

Since 1982 the original four members of ABBA, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-Frid and Agnetha have not appeared in public together. On April 6, 2004 during the 5th anniversary celebration of the global phenomenon, MAMMA MIA!, and the 30th anniversary of winning the Eurovision Song Contest, the world wondered if all four members of ABBA would appear together on stage again for the first time in over 20 years.
