Sheffield Theatres Partners with Cafeology
Sheffield Theatres and Sheffield based Fairtrade coffee suppliers Cafeology have announced a three-year partnership deal which will see the local company continue to supply the Theatre, their cafe and their restaurant, Crucible Corner, with ethically sourced coffee and tea.
Coinciding with Cafeology's 10th year anniversary, the announcement follows a recent visit by the company's Colombian coffee grower, Francisco Herrera, to Sheffield which included a backstage tour of the Crucible during the World Snooker Championships.
Based in Woodseats, Cafeology are an exclusively ethical company specialising in the supply of a range of coffees and teas approved by Fairtrade, Soil Association and Rainforest Alliance. The company have been in business for 10 years this month and have supplied Sheffield Theatres with coffee and tea since 2012. The new three-year partnership means that every hot beverage purchased in the venues is fully traceable, allowing customers to see how their support benefits the lives of hundreds of farmers around the world.
