The Exeter Northcott Theatre are proud to be working with Out of Joint and Bush Theatre to co-produce the fantastic new play Ciphers from acclaimed playwright Dawn King, Tues 16 - Sat 19 October.

A young woman is found dead. Her sister sets out to find out what happened, and stumbles into a world of secrets and subterfuge that makes her question who Justine really was. How well can you ever know someone who lies for a living?

Dawn King's debut play Foxfinder received rave reviews. Now, in Ciphers, she has written a smart and provocative thriller about spies, double agents, and the opaqueness of the human soul. The production will be directed by Blanche McIntyre who previously directed the much-lauded world première of Foxfinder and she was named Most Promising Newcomer at the Critics' Circle Awards 2012.

"Exeter Northcott Theatre has a rich history of supporting new writing and we are delighted to be able to do this once again by joining forces with Out of Joint and the Bush to premiere this new work" said Kate Tyrrell, Exeter Northcott Theatre's Executive Director

Ciphers will have its world-première at the Exeter Northcott before heading out on a UK tour.

Out of Joint, Bush Theatre and Exeter Northcott Theatre present Ciphers, written by Dawn King and directed by Blanche McIntyre. A cast announcement will be made shortly.
