MARGUERITE, the musical re-telling of La Dame aux Camellias from the writers of Les Misérables and Miss Saigon, continues its run at the Tabard Theatre, West London until October 27.

This production features a new book, a reworked seven-piece acoustic orchestration as well
as new Michel Legrand songs. The co-writer Alain Boublil has personally been involved in this
production, which stars Yvette Robinson (Woman in White, Evita) as Marguerite.

This is the first London revival since the 2008 premiere at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

1942, Nazi Occupied Paris. The French are torn in two: collaborating safely or dangerously resisting the German rule. At its heart is Marguerite, an ageing chanteuse and the kept mistress of a German general, who falls hopelessly in love with a member of the Resistance only half her age.
