Katherine Ryan Comes to Swindon Arts Centre

Katherine Ryan's comedy star is rapidly rising. She can regularly be seen on Channel 4's 8 Out Of 10 Cats as well as BBC's Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Mock The Week. She had the lead role as George in Campus (C4), was a regular in Episodes and recently appeared in Sky's Jack Dee's Don't Sit In The Front Row. Katherine also recently featured in Sky's John Bishop's Only Joking, as well as Dave's One Night Stand (with Angelos Epithemiou) and she was also part of Channel 4's 'mash-up' night in the Deal Or No Deal 8 Out Of 10 Cats Special.

Following this string of television shows and two hugely successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival, stand-up star Katherine Ryan is embarking on her debut stand-up UK tour, with her show Nature's Candy, from January - April 2013.

Nature's Candy is a bitter, sweet treat. Having experienced motherhood, divorce, and MTV, Katherine proves the things in life that make us bitter, can actually be quite delicious and hilarious. An expert on celebrity culture, this award-winning comedian can dissect any Hollywood relationship or gossip magazine story, with her incisive, biting wit delivered in her warm, chatty and charming style.
