The world premiere production of million-selling childrens author Jacqueline Wilson's Hetty Feather bounds onto the Crucible stage from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 June.

Set in London in 1876, Hetty Feather tells the thrilling story of feisty, young girl Hetty (Phoebe Thomas - Holby City) as she strives to escape life at the Foundling Hospital. Tremble as she faces cruel Matron Stinking Bottomly. Thrill as she discovers the wonders of Tanglefields Travelling Circus. Gasp as she endures a lonely night locked in the attic. Quake as she braves the unfamiliar streets of London and cheer as she overcomes all, in her search to find her real mother and a true family of her own.

This exciting show, with live music and circus skills, has been adapted for the stage by award-winning script writer Emma Reeves (CBBC's The Story of Tracy Beaker), from million selling author Jacqueline Wilson's much loved novel of the same name and is directed by Olivier Award nominated Sally Cookson (Jane Eyre, Cinderella, We're Going On A Bear Hunt). Hetty Feather was recently voted fans' favourite Jacqueline Wilson character and this production will bring the story to life in a thrilling spectacular, that's the perfect spring treat for the whole family.

Hetty Feather is on stage at the Crucible from Tuesday 17 - Saturday 21 June. Tickets can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office in-person, by phone on 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk and are priced from £15.00 - £20.00 (Concessions and group discounts are available).
