David Hutchinson, Artistic Director of West End and Regional Touring Company Sell a Door Theatre is to direct their February 2013 London revival of Journey's End at the Greenwich Theatre.

R. C. Sherriff’s anti-war classic was an instant hit from its first performance in 1928 starring Laurence Olivier and its significance still continues to resonate decades on.

The production will play at the Greenwich Theatre from 9th February through until the 17th February with evening and matinee performances. David Hutchinson says "Journey's End is one of my all time favourite plays that I have been waiting for the right time to produce with Sell a Door. It is ultimately a story of bravery and honour, and portrays the friendship and strength of character that led Britain and the allies to eventually win the war."

Fresh out of an English Public School, Raleigh is flung into the dugouts of the First World War trenches. He joins a group of British Officers on the front line, the besieged company of his friend and cricketing hero Stanhope. But the man he knew is not the man he sees; a living testament to the toils of war on the shoulders of the innocent.
