The Epstein Theatre will replicate the spirit of the 'Swinging Sixties' this spring bringing you two nights of amazing music from the decade's greatest hits.

The 1960s was a time of real musical expression and the birth of some of the most memorable music so grab your flares and miniskirts and head down to the theatre on Hanover Street!

The Johnny Cash Roadshow comes to town on Friday 3rd March and is a show not to be missed by avid fans or the casual listener. The only show to be endorsed by the Cash family, this is the UK's number one celebration of Johnny Cash.

Fronted by singer songwriter Clive John, the performance will recreate with astounding accuracy and truly capture the essence of what it was like to be at a real Cash show! This year prepare for a musical adventure with the biggest production to date.

Also featuring June Carter and The Carter Sisters (on selected shows) along with the Roadshow Horns all aspects of cash's life are covered with impeccable taste.

The show takes the audience from the 1950s right up to 2002 and all the stops in between. All the greatest hits are included, along with songs from every one of the five decades that the Man in Black's career spanned. All this is accompanied by evocative screen images and shots from Johnny Cash's life.

The music continues with Twist & Shout as an all-star cast from the West End deliver a musical powerhouse of a show that starts with the explosion of Brit Pop in 1962 through to the era of flower power and free love of the late sixties.

Featuring incredible performances and beautiful bespoke costumes, Twist & Shout will transport you from Saturday 4th March back to the sights and sounds of the Swinging Sixties.

Sing and dance along with an all-star West End cast to the music of The Beatles, Hermans Hermits, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Rolling Stones, Cilla Black, ManfrEd Mann, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, SAndy Shaw and many more.

With over 40 songs, this is a nonstop feast of music that features a four piece live band and cast of six singers and dancers performing hits such as She Loves You, Glad All Over, You're My World, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Something Tells Me I'm In To Something Good, Shout, Ferry Cross The Mersey and so many more. This show will get you up on your feet and dancing in the aisles.

Theatre manager, Rebekah Pichilingi, said: "Come down to The Epstein this March and recreate the swinging sixties with these two fantastic musical extravaganzas."
