Rob Young's new British musical EX, presented in collaboration with Two's Company (producer Graham Cowley), opens at Soho Theatre for previews on Thursday 10 November, with a press night on Tuesday 15 November, 2011. EX stars Amy Booth-Steel as Ruby, Siobhan Dillon as Claire, Simon Thomas as Keith and Gabriel Vick as Jack.

An unlikely couple: Ruby is funny and gawkily attractive, Jack a bit of a scruff but cocky. When they were together she let him walk all over her, but now Ruby looks great, is full of confidence and has a new lover, Keith, with whom she is about to emigrate to America. But will her feelings for Jack return when she decides to meet him one last time? And will Jack abandon his new love, the feisty and beautiful Claire?

Amy Booth-Steel's stage credits include Tom Morris' Swallows and Amazons at the Bristol Old Vic; she has appeared at The National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company and was in the original 2009-2010 cast of Peter Schneider's hit revival of Sister Act at the London Palladium. She also appeared on the BBC's I'd Do Anything, as one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's final 12 Nancy's.

Siobhan Dillon reached the final show of BBC's How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? Her other theatre credits include the national tour of Can't Smile Without You, a new musical based on an original idea by Bill Kenwright. In 2009 she took over the role of Sally Bowles in the UK tour of Cabaret and currently plays the role of Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde.

Simon Thomas is currently in Legally Blonde in the role of Walter Huntington III. His other recent theatre credits include playing Rapunzel's Prince in Sondheim's Into the Woods at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, the lead in Disney's Tarzan at the Neue Flora in Hamburg, plus roles in Marguerite (Theatre Royal Haymarket); Make Me A Song (Theatre Royal Brighton) and Merry Wives Of Windsor (Royal Shakespeare Company).

Gabriel Vick recently appeared alongside John Barrowman in Terry Johnson's critically acclaimed production of La Cage Aux Folles at London's Playhouse Theatre. His other credits include the role of Henrik in Trevor Nunn's A Little Night Music at the Garrick, and the roles of Laertes/Guildenstern in the UK tour of Hamlet-The Musical!

EX is directed by Tricia Thorns whose credits include My Real War 1914-? (Trafalgar Studios and tour), Red Night (Finborough), What The Women Did (Southwark Playhouse), Forgotten Voices from the Great War (Pleasance), as well as a long acting career.
