SUBMIT UPDATES
On Sunday May 5th 2024 at 3:00 pm oboist Caitlin-Broms Jacobs and pianist/composer Adam Sherkin take the Arts & Letters Club stage in Toronto for a neo-romantic program featuring expressive new works for oboe and piano. The highlights of this recital include a fresh commission from award-winning Canadian composer Harry Stafylakis and a new set of five pieces "Plastic Dawn" by Adam Sherkin. Also on the program: Kevin Lau's "In the Garden of Endless Sleep" and a dynamic work from 2012 by celebrated composer Alexina Louie "Filigree" originally written and commissioned for club member John Stanley and his partner.
