Performance ensemble Frumpus return to Illawarra Performing Arts Centre 2 - 4 November with their new work, LANDED. Formed in the 1990s, Frumpus includes Lenny Ann Low, Cheryle Moore and Stephanie Hart.
Using physical comedy and found footage and audio, LANDED is a pastiche of clowning and satire. Three shifty women, wordless but with plenty to say, take an unnerving and rib-tickling excursion into absurdity.
Exploring ideas embedded in pop culture surrounding beauty and the grotesque, their frumpy red tracksuits and audacious silliness became a trademark for pushing boundaries, celebrating the underdog and puncturing ideals of female perfection.

February 16, 2023Merrigong Theatre Company has announced another exciting year of their annual artists’ program, MERRIGONGX, showcasing the outstanding breadth of local talent and their bold new works. In 2023, the program will feature a line-up of four exciting productions on stage, as well as 17 works in development ranging across dance, theatre, music and more.
