The Opera is based on Astrid Lindgren's first book about Karlsson and younger brother from 1955 and has had new music by Thomas Lindahl and lyrics by Mathias Clason. Composer Thomas Lindahl has many known for music for several films and television shows, including: Sunes Sommar, Åke and his world, Pip-Larssons, Diesel rats and seaman's mice and faceless killers. The young artistic team (directed, scenography and lighting design), which approached the set all have roots in UngaTur/TUR Theatre in Kärrtorp, where their innovative interpretations.
