On October 11, 2012 Theatre Pro Rata will host Heather Bunch's one-woman show, The One-Legged Cowboy at the Gremlin Theatre in St. Paul, MN.

The One-Legged Cowboy is a one-woman show conceived and performed by Heather Bunch. Through the use of physical storytelling and live music, she presents a tale based on the history of her Texan family and their extraordinary patriarch.

The One-Legged Cowboy was developed and performed at Dreamland Arts, where it played to intimate and rapt audiences. Heather Bunch uses her skills as a highly-trained physical performer to bring characters and situations to life on a bare stage.

Bunch is a Texas native, graduate of the London International School of Performing arts, and core company member of Ivey award-winning troupe Transatlantic Love Affair. She is accompanied by touring and improvisational musician, Dustin Tessier, who both performs and composed the music, and is directed by Indian-born Zaraawar Mistry, a veteran Twin Cities-based solo performer, and owner and operator of Dreamland Arts.

The One-Legged Cowboy performs for one night only, Thursday, October 11, at 7:30pm at the Gremlin Theatre (2400 University Avenue West, St. Paul). General admission tickets are pay-what-you-can at the door. For more information, visit www.theatreprorata.org.
