Park Square Theatre will wrap up its 2010/2011 season with two premiere plays. First will be Michael Hollinger's OPUS, presented from May 6-29 with opening night on May 13, followed by Joseph Goodrich Area's Edgar Award winning PANIC, presented from June 10 - July 10 with opening night on June 17. Both shows promise to thrill audiences and to end Park Square's year with a bang.

In OPUS, a celebrated string quartet has their backs against a wall on the eve of their White House debut. They've had to replace their violist with gifted, inexperiencEd Grace, who's never played Beethoven's difficult Opus 131. OPUS explores the power and pettiness of collaboration... and what a girl's gotta do to play with the big boys. Go behind the music into the crescendoing egos and frayed nerves of a classical ensemble.

Paris, 1963. Director Henry Lockwood has come to the City of Light for the premiere of his new film. What he discovers are the real-life dark places, desperate women and power-hungry men who fill his scripts. And then he finds himself accused of murder. Shake a classic martini for PANIC, a great night of suspense with a nod to Hitchcock.

Tickets for both shows are on sale now. Adults are $20 regularly, $60 on opening night. Seniors get $5 off each ticket and 30 & under are $15. Park Square Theatre offers a $10 Fringe Button discount. For groups of 10+, weekday matinees & previews are $15 and evenings & weekends are $25. For tickets and for more information, call (651) 291-7005 or visit www.parksquaretheatre.org. Park Square Theatre is located at Historic Hamm Building, 20 W. 7th Place.
