TeamSTAGES Performs In A Special Concert Event 11/30

STAGES ST. LOUIS, home to the premiere teen a cappella troupe TeamSTAGES, proudly announces a special concert event on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. TeamSTAGES will perform at the Sheldon Concert Hall as part of the "Notes from Home" series at 7:30 PM, doors open at 7:00 PM.
TeamSTAGES pays homage to St. Louis and celebrates the holidays for this special performance. A high-energy first act will keep your toes tapping and make your hometown pride soar, with memorable songs such as "Meet Me in St. Louis," a unique mixed arrangement of "Johnny Be Good" and "Proud Mary," and the "St. Louis Cardinal Medley." The second act is a perfect way to start your holidays! TeamSTAGES will warm your spirit with a variety of Christmas, Hanukkah, and seasonal songs that include "Let it Snow," "Ma ‘oz Tzur," and "Let it Be."

"Performing at the Sheldon is an opportunity that any professional musician in St. Louis desires. The Sheldon offers unique acoustics, enticing artists from around the world. In the past four years TeamSTAGES has grown from singing three-part a cappella harmonies to intricate six-part harmonies. The range of performance style varies- from classic Broadway to Rock 'n' Roll, from holiday sounds to Jazz," commented Director Lisa Campbell Albert.

An opportunity for the region's top teen talent to showcase their performance skills, TeamSTAGES began in the fall of 2007 and has emerged as a unique performance troupe, whose exceptional talent has been recognized by Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. TeamSTAGES many credits also include performances at art festivals, community and corporate events and FOX 2.

Executive Producer Jack Lane stated, "TeamSTAGES adds a creative, vibrant and youthful dimension to the STAGES ST. LOUIS organization. Through the enormous talents of the TeamSTAGES members, the St. Louis community and beyond will be both entertained and educated and in turn look at the art form of musical theatre in a new and dynamic way."
