The Cape Town City Ballet returns to the Masque Theatre for the fifteenth consecutive year with a programme that features a range of classics from its repertoire. "Glazunov Variations", a ballet by world-renowned choreographer, Ashley Killar, was seen for the first time in South Africa at the Artscape Opera House last year, while "Stairway to Paradise" was created by Robin van Wyk to Gershwin's music to herald in the New Year in style. The spectacular pas de deux from DIANE AND ACTEON - a challenge for any dancer - and a glimpse of Van Wyk's new ROMEO AND JULIET, danced to the familiar Prokofiev score complete the programme.
