In a fascinating evening of east-meets-west, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and their special guests, American pianist Leon Bates, soprano Kimberly Eileen Jones and baritone Lawrence Mitchell-Matthews, present a selection of jazz and blues numbers by famous American composer, George Gershwin.

Mostly Gershwin features creative interpretations made possible on traditional Chinese instruments. Look forward to riveting performances of jazz favourites such as I Got Rhythm: Variations and Rhapsody in Blue, select pieces from Gershwin’s iconic opera Porgy and Bess, all-time classic Summertime, and more.
