This year…get ready for nonstop laughs as you experience a variety of jaw-dropping vignettes inspired and torn straight from the pages of the most unforgettable and unintentionally hilarious MUSIC tell-alls. From Britney Spears to LL Cool J to Tommy Lee, Cher, Madonna and more. True tales of groupies, performance anxiety and more. Originally created by Emmy-Award nominated writer-performer Eugene Pack and developed by Pack and Dayle Reyfel, Celebrity Autobiography has been profiled in virtually every major media outlet including Nightline, CBS Sunday Morning, and The View. Photo Flash: First Look at House Theatre of Chicago's ROSE AND THE RIME

The House Theatre of Chicago presents the all-ages original play Rose and the Rime at the Chopin Theatre Upstairs Theatre, 1543 W. Division St. through Sunday, March 9. The play is created by Company Members Chris Matthews, Jake Minton and Artistic Director Nathan Allen, who will also serve as the production's director, and has choreography by Company Member Tommy Rapley and music by Company Member Kevin O' Donnell. Regular performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. Although designed for adults, The Rose and the Rime is suitable for kids six and up and encourages young audiences to attend the opening of the production. The run time is 85 minutes with no intermission. Preview tickets are $15, Regular Run tickets range from $20 to $40 and $10 Student and Industry Same-Day discounted tickets are available for all dates, seats permitting. Last night, 92Y celebrated songwriting legend Mike Stoller on the occasion of his 80th year with An 80th Birthday Celebration, a one-night-only Lyrics & Lyricists Special Event hosted by Paul Shaffer and directed and written by Randy Johnson (director/writer of A Night withJanis Joplin). Performers included: legendary vocal group The Coasters, along with artists Karen Akers,Mary Bridget Davies, Corky Hale, Maria Elena Infantino,Sally Kellerman, Bettye Lavette, Melissa Manchester, Billy Stritch, Tommy Tune and Steve Tyrell. Backed by Tyrell's band, the artists performed some of the greatest songs written by Stoller with his longtime lyricist partner Jerry Leiber and others. Check out photos from the special event below! On Sunday, December 8, Joe Allen, owner of Joe Allen Restaurant, Orso Restaurant, and Bar Centrale (W. 46th Street, NYC) donated 50% of the entire day's proceeds from all three restaurants to Save the Children for the organization's Typhoon Haiyan Children's Relief Fund to benefit children affected by the super typhoon in the Philippines. The three restaurants total raised $10,000 to donate, and then a charitable regular at Bar Centrale matched their total. The grand total to be donated to Save the Children for their typhoon relief is $12,500. (more...)
