Zhong-Jing Fang was promoted to soloist at the American Ballet Theatre in 2018, the first Chinese ballerina to be promoted to soloist since Yan Chen in 1993. Almost ten years ago, she tore her posterior tibial tendon in her right foot during a rehearsal. Doctors told her that the chances of her returning to the stage were extremely slim.

Michael Attenborough directs Eduardo De Filippo's Filumena in a new English version by Tanya Ronder running at the Almeida from 15 March - 12 May 2012, with press night on 22 March at 7pm. The stars of SILENCE! The Musical, Brent Barrett and Jenn Harris, along with the entire cast headed into Yellow Sound Lab recording studio, NYC to create the original cast recording this past Monday, August 8th. The recording is set to be released by Ghostlight Records in October and finally musical comedy fans outside of New York will be able to enjoy the critically acclaimed score, including such song selections as 'If I Could Smell Her C---' and 'Put the F--king Lotion in the Basket.'

This past Saturday, July 23, Randy Harrison (Queer as Folk) and the entire cast and crew of Broadway's Chicago attended SILENCE! The Musical, Off-Broadway's newest smash hit, at Theatre 80. The 10:30 PM performance was particularly electric as Charlotte d'Amboise and the other Chicago cast members broke out into cheers and applause every time SILENCE's leading lady (Jenn Harris) executed her Fosse moves, as devised by director/choreographer Christopher Gattelli. Harrison and the Chicago company happily posed for onstage photos afterwards with Brent Barrett, Jenn Harris and the entire SILENCE! cast.

Saturday evening July 2nd, Joan Rivers was spotted in the audience at SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, at Theatre 80, located at 80 St. Marks Place (between First & Second Ave.) The legendary comedienne/actress was the first to leap to her feet at the end of the performance, leading the standing ovation. Joan chatted with the cast after the show and she even offered some tongue-in-cheek advice to leading lady Jenn Harris regarding her first scene. Jenn replied, 'You're an asshole!' The two actresses fell into each others arms dissolved in laughter.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its extraordinarily popular annual summer tradition of family theatre 'under-the-stars' with a new translation/adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's hilarious comedy The Servant of Two Masters. Performances begin on June 23th and continue through August 1th.
