Company members from A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER performed a one-night only 'Angels' Cabaret' titled 'Miscast: Songs We Shouldn't Sing From Roles We'll Never Play' at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel on Monday, April 18. Presented by Center Theatre Group and the CTG Affiliates, proceeds from the performance will go to support CTG's education and community partnership programs. The sold-out audience at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre was dazzled last night, March 21, 2016, by this year's stirring edition of Broadway Backwards. The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. The evening raised an incredible $480,287 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming American premiere of The Father, the new play by Moliere Award winner Florian Zeller, in a translation by two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Hampton (Sunset Boulevard, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, God of Carnage), will begin previews Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Opening night for the production will now be Thursday, April 14, 2016 on Broadway at MTC's Samuel J. FriedmanTheatre (261 West 47th Street). Check out photos of the theatre marquee below!

Jamie Wilson is delighted to announce that Alexandra Burke will star as 'Deloris Van Cartier' in the national tour of Curve's all new production of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT, directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood with musical supervision and arrangements by Tony award-winning Sarah Travis. SISTER ACT will open at Curve on Saturday 30 July 2016. Tour schedule below with further dates and full casting to be announced shortly. Check out a sneak peek below!

 In a special limited engagement, Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production ofGeorgie: My Adventures with George Rose written and performed by Broadway veteran Ed Dixon (Broadway's Anything Goes, Signature's Sunset Boulevard). Directed by Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, and Million Dollar Quartet), this one-man play chronicles Dixon's relationship with his friend and mentor, the Tony-award winning character actor George Rose (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, My Fair Lady, Pirates of Penzance). Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose will play in Signature's ARK Theatre from January 8 - February 7, 2016. As previously announced, Glenn Close will star as Norma Desmond in SUNSET BOULEVARD, presented by English National Opera (ENO) and the GradeLinnit Company, this coming spring. Bay Area Cabaret concluded its 2012-2013 season by honoring the memory and legendary career of composer Marvin Hamlisch on June 2, 2013.
