Before we were Bumbling and Mingling and Swiping Right, there were Personals - ads for those looking for love. And before there was the television hit show Friends. The creators took a stab and making a musical that would later help them lay the groundwork for that show.

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has today released rehearsal photos for BANG BANG!, a brand new comedy by John Cleese which arrives at the theatre from Tuesday 12 – Saturday 16 May, staring Tessa Peake-Jones, Tony Gardner and Wendi Peters.

A delicious blend of French Farce and Fawlty Towers - Bang Bang! opens at Exeter Northcott Theatre on 6th February and tours until May.

THE HAT, which opened at the Santa Fe Playhouse on March 12, is a personal and highly original tale, dealing with some of the lesser known human stories of world war II. Written by Santa Fe playwright, Dianna Lewis, the play is grounded in historical fact. While the details of this particular story are fictional, the circumstances under which it unfolds are shockingly real.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of John Morogiello's comedy Engaging Shaw. Directed by Henry Wishcamper, Engaging Shaw will run July 29 - Sept. 4 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 29 - Aug. 3. Former Ashland Associate Artistic Director Penny Metropulos and veteran performer Joseph Graves will pick up the gauntlet thrown by adaptors Denis O'Hare and Lisa Peterson and spin the western world's oldest yarn into a freshly riveting tale in An Iliad, launching a thousand ships this Fall in the Ellyn Bye Studio. An Iliad previews on Tuesday September 28th, opens on Friday, October 1st, and runs Tuesday through Sunday through November 21st.
