All new behind the scenes photos have been released from Disney’s Newsies, playing at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre until 30 July 2023.
The Theatre Group at SBCC will present the classic comedy, HARVEY by Mary Chase, directed by R. Michael Gros, February 27-March 16, 2019 in the Garvin Theatre.

Dowd and Maureen Lipman as Veta Louise Simmons, will play a limited season at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket from Tuesday 17 March until Saturday 2 May, with a Gala Night on Monday 23 March. The production first plays Birmingham Repertory Theatre beginning 6 February, running until 21 February, with a national press night on Tuesday 17 February. Just last night, the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical NEWSIES bowed for the last time at the Nederlander Theatre. NEWSIES featured a Tony Award-winning score with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, with a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, NEWSIES was directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who won a 2012 Tony Award for his work. Corey Cott and the cast of Newsies, the Tony Award winning new American musical, will appear on the 2012 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, with a performance of "Carrying the Banner." The parade airs on ABC, beginning at 10:00am, on Christmas morning, Tuesday, December 25, 2012.

The event, which honored Tony Award winner Tyne Daly (Master Class, Rabbit Hole, Gypsy), and producers and Primary Stages Board members Jamie deRoy and Ted Snowdon, featured performances by Tony Award nominee Tom Wopat (Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair), actor/director/producer Tamara Tunie ("Law & Order: SVU," "As The World Turns"), Lewis Cleale (The Book of Mormon, Spamalot, Call Me Madam), and Garrett Sorenson (Master Class).

The Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire was awarded the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2011-2012 Season from Actors' Equity Association (AEA) on Tuesday. The show, produced by Front Row Productions (Stephen Byrd, Alia Jones-Harvey), received the honor at a presentation at Equity headquarters. Christine Toy Johnson and Julia Breanetta Simpson (AEA Co-chairs Eastern Regional Equal Employment Opportunity Committee) presented the award, which turns the spotlight onto those doing exemplary work to promote the goals of diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in theatre.
