Birdland once again presented singer/songwriter Victoria Shaw, who returned to the stage with another one of her award-winning shows, “Under the Covers” on Monday, March 18. Victoria’s special guests were Peter Cincotti, Jim Brickman, Billy Stritch, Josh Turchin, Ruby Locknar, and Ava Locknar.

Birdland presented  a musical evening with Victoria Shaw, Jim Brickman and Peter Cincotti, who played “musical chairs,” performing their hits and telling the stories behind them.

The UK tour of Tom Kempinski's award-winning play, DUET FOR ONE, starring Belinda Lang as Stephanie Abrahams and Oliver Cotton as Dr Feldmann, opened at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 22 September and will continue to tour through to 18 November 2017. Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent. Below, BroadwayWorld sends a fond farewell to those who passed away in 2014.

Chester Theatre Company will open its 25th Anniversary Season with J.T. Rogers' haunting mystery MADAGASCAR. The production, which runs from June 25th through July 6th at the Chester Town Hall in Chester, MA, will feature CTC favorites Debra Jo Rupp (A Body of Water) and Kim Stauffer (Crime and Punishment).

Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) kicks off the 2013-2014 theatre season with the Tony Award-winning comedy 'ART,' by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, opening tonight and running through August 25, 2013. The cast of three features Milwaukee favorites Tom Klubertanz, Brian Mani and C. Michael Wright. 'ART' performs in the Broadway Theatre Center's Cabot Theatre in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward.
